Remote Cottage Control
Remote Cottage Control is a mobile-first smart home layer that gives the owner live status of heating, lighting and property monitoring — from anywhere in the world.

Project story
The client owns a cottage they visit only on weekends and needed one clear way to see the property status and control the essentials without driving there.
The main goal was to turn a mixed set of smart devices into one clean mobile dashboard focused on heating, lighting and real-time property status.
For the build we relied on trusted smart home ecosystems — Meross, Aqara and Apple Home — combined into one coherent scene structure that works on iPhone and iPad.
Heating was integrated with live temperature readings, lighting was mapped into named scenes, and property status was surfaced through cameras and sensors on the main screen.
Everything was configured to work reliably over standard internet, without a dedicated server, so the setup keeps running even when the owner is away for weeks.
Project summary
Remote Cottage Control turns a weekend house into a property the owner can supervise every single day from a phone.
Heating, lighting and live status are combined into one calm, clear mobile experience without any technical complexity.
The result is comfort, safety and peace of mind — all delivered through a smart home layer that simply works.
